The mission of the Polizzi Foundation’s Free Mental Health Clinic is to provide mental health & psychiatric services to uninsured and underinsured individuals in the Salt Lake area.
- One in four adults experience a mental disorder in a given year
- Depression is the leading cause of disability among Americans ages 15-44
- Less than one-third of adults and one-half of kids with a mental disorder receive mental health services in a given year
The free clinic is completely volunteer run. The clinic is open every Tuesday afternoon, as well as the 3rd Saturday of each month, in space that has been graciously donated. The clinic is also open other times as needed for follow-up appointments.
